Ongoing work exploring the objectification and commodification of nature. Ex Nihilo examines themes of collecting, cultivating and claiming ownership over nature by looking at the victorian practice of plant-hunting alongside modern seed patenting. Made during a month long residency at Hauser and Wirth Somerset.
